Welcome

Hi, my name’s Sharon Davis and I’m a dancer and instructor in dance styles from the jazz era. By day I’m a swing dancer, specialising in Lindy Hop and other vintage jazz dances including 1920s Charleston, Vernacular Jazz, Cakewalk, Blackbottom, Breakaway, Big Apple, Vintage Chorusline and Blues. With my dance partner Juan Villafane of Argentina, and with performance troupe The Killer Dillers, I’m using dance as an excuse to travel the globe.

By night, I’m a booty-shaking, feather-fluffing burlesque Tease Artiste. My Australian burlesque company is Sugar Blue Burlesque, based in Perth. I perform and teach the fine art of classic burlesque around the world.
