Before throwing herself into the arts, Sharon first studied computer science and software engineering at the University of Western Australia, making her a bona fide computer nerd. A few years on (and a BA later), a shift towards graphic design now helps her strike a happy balance between the technical and the creative.

Sharon likes to spend quality time with her MacBook by designing websites, posters, t-shirts and all manner of things, in both web and print. Though her work covers a range of styles, Sharon's graphic design approach is not surprisingly inspired by vintage aesthetics - put simply this girl knows retro. Her influences include art nouveau and art deco, Dada typography and photomontage, carnivalesque and vintage circus, European cabaret and American vaudeville, World War propaganda, jazz paraphernalia, retro signage and old newspapers.
